This will enable us to see what additional training could be beneficial or suitable in order to increase work opportunities and the quality of care delivery.
Complete Care & Support provide an extensive training programme designed to meet the requirements of CQC and to develop knowledge and evidence for completion of the care certificate.
We complete an induction with the new care worker to discuss their role within the company and to complete any remaining paperwork. We discuss rotas, and availability to ensure that there is a healthy work/life balance for our team. We also take the opportunity to discuss our policies & procedures and ensure that our new team member is ready to start their new role.
Once the DBS check, application form, references, training and induction has been completed we will arrange shadow shifts for the new care worker to “shadow” an experienced worker, during this time additional elements of the care certificate will be signed off through observation of delivery of care and guided discussions. The shadow shifts will also enable our clients to meet our new member of the team.
